Umineko no Naku Koro ni takes place in the year 1986 during the time frame of October 4 and October 5 on a secluded island named Rokkenjima. The head of a wealthy family named Kinzo Ushiromiya, who lives on and owns Rokkenjima, is near death, and eleven of his family members arrive on the island to discuss how Kinzo’s assets will be divided once he is dead. Also on the island are five of Kinzo’s servants, and his personal physician. After the eleven family members arrive, a typhoon traps them on the island and shortly after people start to get mysteriously murdered.

After almost four years of work, today the Witch Hunt release the full translation of the fourth and final episode of Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru, also known as When They Cry 4.As usual, the patch is released as a Windows installer, OS-X installer, and standalone zip archive.

• Umineko no Naku Koro ni (Question Arcs) This patch aims to modify the newest release of Umineko by MangaGamer, changing its assets to replicate the PS3 version of the game. It is compatible with the Steam version and the MangaGamer DRM-free download.
• Umineko no Naku Koro ni Tsubasa English Patch This is a patch for Umineko Tsubasa, a fandisc released alongside EP8 back in 2010. The original english patch, released in 2011, left out a few stories that have since then been translated.
