Final Fantasy 14 Patch Download Error
I bought Final Fantasy XIV online the complete experience for ps4 the other day, never really played an mmo before and man is it frustrating trying to install it! I've managed to log into the lodestone but every time I try to start the game I need to download the update file, it gets a quarter of the way through (roughly) and then fails. You can download the Windows® version of the FINAL FANTASY XIV game client from the following link.
I've spent the past two hours or so trying to figure this out, and have no luck. Every time I try to patch my game I get the error, 'Unable to download patch files. 30413 20496.' I have tried deleting the ff14 files under my documents, disabling firewalls/AV, opening ports, resetting router, yelling at comcast representatives, restarting my computer, running as admin, and also reinstalling the game which also resulted in me not being able to actually install the game because it keeps giving me the error still. Does anyone happen to have a fix that may help me at least reinstall the game? Thanks!
