A completely new story, style, and direction... Coming from a fan since day 1 on the ps1, I love it, It's the original Resident Evil meets Texas Chainsaw Massacre on roids. The new style and graphics engine are spectacular, the gameplay is smooth, controls are flawless, environments were very realistic, the story & voiceover is very convencing, the action is epic, and the characters & their designs were top notch and disturbing. Certainly the best looking, playing, sounding RE from the entire RE franchise by far which says alot considering almost all of them were epic blockbusters in their own rights. RE 7 is definitely the most different one from the series, only sharing the title and thats it. Everything has changed dramatically in every way but youll figure out that the change was a great idea & it was needed. Ive read the 1&2 star reviews, Real gamers & RE fans shouldnt waste time reading the 1 & 2 star reviews, the critics were just terrible and their reviews were a joke.
